Lovely base for exploring Baia Mare. Above average and good breakfast with lots of choice. Stunning, exceptionally nice location right by the mountains rather than the river. For tea or coffee visit Pressco nearby;)))

The hotel's interior decor exudes an elegant charm, reminiscent of a bygone era. The vintage furniture and tasteful decorations created an ambiance that made me feel right at home. The spacious and well-maintained common areas were accessible for senior people like myself, making it easy to navigate and relax.

The only drawback I encountered during my stay was the occasional lack of attentiveness from the staff. It would have been preferable if the children working there were more prompt in their service.

The room I stayed in wassuper clean and cozy, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a good night's sleep. I especially appreciated the presence of two separate bathrooms in my Business Double Room with a convenient touch of luxury. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and I enjoyed spending time at the nice bar and outdoor sitting area in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and most of them spoke English, making communication easy. I found the breakfast to be reasonably priced and the option to have eggs or omelette cooked to order by a friendly lady was a nice touch. The food at the restaurant was also great and reasonably priced. Plus, the hotel's location was excellent, just a short 5-minute walk to the town center. Despite some minor drawbacks like slow service and occasional loud music, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. my experience at Carpati was enjoyable and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

We also appreciated the delicious breakfast and the option for room service. this place provided enhanced comfort and quality services, making our stay memorable.
